Glory is a measure of your bravery and heroism, the numerical equivalent of fame. It is accumulated by the partaking of special quests and adventures, as well as for other valiant deeds. It appears on your score sheet thus:
The number in parentheses is the total amount of glory achieved in your lifetime, while the number outside the parentheses is your current amount of glory.
Glory is used like coins and can be spent to gain things that cannot be bought by normal means. Some of these fantastic wares include permanent enhancements to your body and mind or your equipment. The menu of options is can be seen by typing 'help glory effects'. Also, the cost per effect is displayed by typing 'help glory rates'. Glory is spent by using the purchase command at the Hall of Crowns in Blackmoor. The exception to this is in the case of a rekey or a rename, which must be performed by an immortal.
The Top 10 lifetime glory earners can be seen by typing 'statistics glory'.

Rekeying equipment is the act of putting the owner's name into the list of keywords of that piece of equipment. A 'Locate object' spell using the owner's name would find that item.
Please see an Immortal for assistance.
Glory is a trait inherent in a character, and as such will NOT under any circumstances be moved from one player to another.
On a similar note, glory is cashed in as per the glory rates above, on an individual basis. Glory may NOT be taken from more than one character in order to buy an affect.
Finally, do NOT pass glory-enhanced equipment between your characters. This is highly insulting to the staff of DoD, and will result in the loss of said equipment IN ADDITION TO whatever punishment the Immortals decide upon.
