Follow

follow <character>
follow self

The 'follow' command starts you following another character. To stop following, type 'follow self'. You cannot follow those more than ten levels above you. You may, however, follow lower level characters.

Group

group <character>
group all
group disband
group

The command 'group <character>' adds someone who is following you into your group, making them a group member. Group members share experience from kills, and may use the 'gtell' and 'split' commands. If anyone in your group is attacked, you will automatically join the fight. You may only group with characters within eight levels of your own.

If character is already a member of your group, using 'group <character>' will remove them from your party. Removing the character from the group does not stop them from following you, however. A character can also leave your group by using the 'follow self' command, in which case they will both leave your group and stop following you.

The command 'group all' adds all eligible players in the room who are following you to your group.

The command 'group disband' allows a leader to disband his group (members stop following and are ungrouped).

The 'group' command with no argument shows statistics for each character in your group.

Following Zed [hitpnts] [ magic ] [mvs] [mst] [race] [to lvl]
[43- A Dru] Zed           35/94       66/80     90   -==     Elf

Each line begin with the [ Level Alignment Class ] for each character.

Alignment breaks down as follows:

A750+ to 1000
-A350 to 749
+N150 to 349
N-149 to 149
-N-349 to -150
+S-749 to -350
S-1000 to -750

Classes are displayed by their first three letters.

[hitpnts] lists current hitpoints for each character. Current hitpoints under 40% of maximum will be displayed in yellow, while current hitpoints under 25% will be displayed in flashing red.

[ magic ] lists current magic points (mana, blood, or psi) followed by the maximum magic points for each character. Mana is not displayed for the warrior class.

[mst] tracks mentalstate. A normal or near-normal state, where the character is neither tired (negative mentalstate) or delirious (positive mentalstate), is represented by a === bar. As mentalstate lifts into delirium, sections are replaced with +'s. The greater the number of +'s, the more delirious the char. As mentalstate sinks below into exhaustion, sections of the bar are replaced with -'s. The more -'s, the greater the character's exhaustion.

[mvs] lists current moves only.

[race] is the character's race.

[to lvl] displays the exp required to attain the next level (non-Avatars only)

Split

split <amount>

The 'split' command divides money between you and all the members of your group who are in the same room as you. You must specify the denomination you wish to split (cp, sp, ep, gp, or pp). If you have your config set to autoloot, the money looted after a kill is divided automatically.

Gtell

gtell <message>
; <message>

The 'gtell' command sends a message to all of the characters in your group, wherever they are, even if they are sleeping or stunned or dying. The symbol ; is a synonym for gtell.
