Object

Objects are one of the three basic building blocks of the MUD, the other two being mobs and rooms. Objects are items which may be contained within in a room or a character's inventory. Not all objects are portable, although most are. Objects usually have a use that may be activated by the commands of a character, although some are merely for decoration and others have no value except as commodities. All objects have a unique vnum. However, unlike rooms, there may be more than one iteration of the same object.
