ocreate <vnum> <keywords>
ocreate <vnum> [copied vnum] <keywords>

The "ocreate" command (level 54 stock, level 104 DoD) creates a prototype object (set with "flags prototype") with the selected vnum. The object is created with SMAUG's default field values. (Use the "ostat" command to view the default field values.) A copy of the object will appear in your inventory. The object can be edited with the "oset" command.

Once an object is created with a vnum, it cannot be destroyed or deleted, but it can be modified completely.

Example:

ocr 5199 helmet silver kings

This would create an object with the vnum 5199 and the keywords 'helmet silver kings'.

Ocreate can also be used to copy an existing object to a new vnum.

Example:

ocr 5199 1000 sleeves platinum kings

This would take the fields and values of object vnum 1000 and copy them to object vnum 5199 with the new keywords of 'sleeves platinum kings'. This is useful if you have several similar objects that have slightly different flags or effects.
