The 'practice' command gives you information about your spells and skills.

practice show <all/spells/skills/weapons/tongues>
practice <skill>

Typing 'practice' with no argument (i.e., all by itself) tells you your current ability level in all the skills and spells available to you. You can check this anywhere and at any time (unless you are stunned or worse).

The Dawn of Demise has customized the stock SMAUG practice command such that you can look at individual subsets of your skills. Typing 'practice show spells' will list all of your current spells. You can also use one of the above arguments to show all your skills, tongues, or weapon proficiencies.

Typing 'practice <skill>' will learn that skill or spell. Your learning percentage starts off at 0% (unlearned) and can be practiced once. After this initial practice, the skill/spell must be used to develop it to the level of "adept" (Adept is not always necessarily 100%). You must be at a teacher mob in order to practice. The first one you will encounter is Oleidon, who is one room west of Hilorex's Avatar.

The higher your wisdom, the more practice sessions you will gain each time you gain a level. Unused sessions are saved until you do use them.
